The H2Safety Charity Hockey Tournament is an annual event that brings people together to have fun playing the game we love while giving back to our community. This year, we’re proud to support both Canada Action, a grassroots movement encouraging Canadians to take action and work together in support of our vital natural resources sector, and Synaptic Health, a spinal cord injury and neuro rehabilitation centre dedicated to providing all individuals with access to progressive rehabilitation technology and education.
“The purpose of our charity is to support initiatives that protect the wellness of all those in our community. Both Canada Action and Synaptic Health are perfect examples of this: two worthy organizations full of people dedicated to helping others, whether by protecting an important business sector that provides jobs, futures, and resources important to our way of life or by protecting their health through innovative rehabilitation programs.”
– James Harasen, President & CEO, H2Safety
This year’s charity hockey tournament is sponsored by Sportsnet 960 and Wild Rose Brewery.
“Every year, the event gets bigger. More interest, bigger sponsors, but the feeling at the rink is the same. We’re all out there having fun and feeling good knowing the money we’ve raised is going to organizations that make a difference.”
Those interested in supporting these causes can register a team to participate in the tournament, donate a monetary amount directly, or supply items for the charity auction, all by visiting the hockey tournament website .
